We’re constantly evolving: improving our processes, reducing our environmental impact, and making better, more responsible choices every day. We still have a long way to go, but here’s what we’ve built so far.
ETHICAL PRODUCTION PRACTICES
We care deeply about where and how our products are made. That’s why all our partner factories undergo independent audits to ensure they meet globally recognised social and environmental standards. These audits cover everything from fair labour conditions to workplace safety and environmental responsibility.
We work with certification organisations such as Sedex, BSCI, Smeta, GRS, OCS, Oeko-Tex, and SLCP.
At Venova, we take ethical production and human rights seriously. Modern slavery including forced labour and human trafficking remains a global issue, and we are committed to ensuring that every part of our supply chain upholds dignity, respect, and fairness.
Beyond basic compliance, we also prioritise factory partners who invest in long-term initiatives that genuinely improve the quality of life for their workers.
Today, our garments are responsibly produced in China and Italy.
STEPS TOWARDS CIRCULARITY
Sustainability is a journey and we’re committed to moving forward with intention. One of our main focuses is sourcing better, safer materials. That’s why polyester is banned from our SoftLine collection: we refuse to use synthetic fibres linked to skin irritation and hormonal disruption.
Instead, we work with ultra-soft, high-performance fabrics that are breathable, skin-friendly, and designed for comfort without compromise.
All our production samples at the Venova head office are also donated to organisations that can give them a second life nothing goes to waste.
RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING
We’re eliminating plastic wherever possible.
Our packaging including zip bags and shipping mailers is made from 100% biodegradable cornstarch and cassava starch. These materials naturally break down within months, leaving no harmful residue and drastically reducing environmental impact.
LOOKING AHEAD
We see transparency as an ongoing commitment. In the near future, we plan to launch a collection made from 100% bio-based, fully natural materials, continuing to push the limits of what responsible activewear can be.
